Terms of use

Last updated 26 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Dulcet Club (“we”, “us”) for using dulcet.club and the Dulcet Club app. By creating an account you agree to them, and to the way we handle your information, which is set out in our privacy policy.

In short: be 18 or over, be yourself, verify before you message, and keep it to connection. No money, gifts or deposits change hands between people through Dulcet Club, ever.

1.Who can join

  • You must be 18 or over. We confirm your age from the date of birth on your government ID when you verify, and close the account of anyone who turns out to be under 18.
  • Dulcet Club is for people in Australia.
  • One account per person, with your own photos and true details about yourself.
  • You may not join if we have closed an account of yours before, or if the law does not allow you to use a service like this.

2.Patrons and members

When you join you choose a side. Patrons pay to send messages. Members message for free once they have verified. Your side decides which plans and features apply to you. If you joined on the wrong side, email support@dulcet.club.

3.Identity verification

Anyone can look around. To send messages or use private albums you must verify your identity with a government ID and a live selfie, through our verification partner, Veriff.

Verification confirms one thing: that the person’s face matches a genuine government ID, and that the ID shows they are 18 or over. The green shield beside a name means exactly that. It is not a criminal record check or a background check, and it does not confirm anything else someone tells you, such as their job, income or relationship status.

Never verify with someone else’s ID or a document that is not genuine, and never have someone else take your selfie.

4.House rules

Dulcet Club is for connection. You must not:

  • ask for, offer or send money, gifts, gift cards, deposits, cryptocurrency or anything else of value through Dulcet Club, or arrange payment for companionship or for sexual services;
  • advertise or sell anything, including escort or sex work services, or promote another site or service;
  • harass, threaten, stalk, bully or abuse anyone, or send sexual content to anyone who has not asked for it;
  • pretend to be someone else, use another person’s photos, or lie about your age or identity;
  • share, screenshot or repost anyone’s private photos or messages without their consent. Sharing intimate images without consent is a crime in Australia;
  • post anything illegal, hateful or violent, or anything showing a person under 18;
  • use bots or scripts, collect other people’s information, access accounts that are not yours, or interfere with how Dulcet Club works;
  • use Dulcet Club for anything unlawful.

If you are asked for money, or something here makes you feel unsafe, email support@dulcet.club. If you are in danger, call 000.

5.Your photos and words

  • What you post stays yours: your photos, your profile and your messages. You give us permission to store, copy, resize and show it, only to run Dulcet Club, for as long as it is on the service. We will not use your photos in advertising without asking you first.
  • Your public photos and profile can be seen by people signed in to Dulcet Club. Public photos must clearly show you and must not contain nudity or sexual content.
  • A private album is seen only by people you give access to. You can take access back at any time, but you cannot take back what someone has already seen. Everything in a private album must be of you, lawful, and shared only with people you choose.
  • You must have the right to everything you upload.
  • We may hide or remove anything that breaks these terms.

6.Plans, billing and cancelling

  • Joining and browsing are free on both sides. Prices are shown on dulcet.club and in the app, in Australian dollars.
  • Patrons need a paid plan to send messages and to use private albums. Members message for free once verified, and need the Member plan for private albums.
  • New members get the Member plan free for their first 3 months. When the trial ends you go back to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe. We never charge you automatically when a trial ends.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Subscription in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
  • If you subscribe at a founding rate, you keep that rate for as long as your subscription continues without a break. If you cancel and come back later, the price on offer then applies.
  • If a price changes, we will tell you at least 30 days before it affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
  • Payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see your full card number, and your statement never names a dating service.
  • We do not refund part of a billing period when you change your mind. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a refund for a major failure.

7.Meeting people safely

You are responsible for the people you choose to talk to and meet. Keep conversations on Dulcet Club until you are comfortable, meet somewhere public the first time, tell a friend where you will be, and never send money to someone you have met here. We do not run background checks, and we cannot promise how anyone will behave on or off Dulcet Club.

8.Suspending or closing an account

  • You can stop using Dulcet Club at any time. To delete your account, email support@dulcet.club from the address on your account. Cancel any paid plan first so it does not renew.
  • We may hide content, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts anyone at risk, or that we are required by law to close. Where it is safe and lawful to, we will tell you why.
  • If we close your account for breaking these terms, we do not refund the rest of your billing period, unless the Australian Consumer Law says we must.

9.Our responsibility to you

We work to keep Dulcet Club available, accurate and safe, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors.

The Australian Consumer Law gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded, and nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes them. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a failure to meet a guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for what other people do on or off Dulcet Club.

10.Changes to the service and these terms

We may change Dulcet Club and these terms. If a change to these terms materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Dulcet Club after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, you can close your account.

11.The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of Australia. Questions about them go to support@dulcet.club. Our contact page says what to include so we can help quickly.
